Sammy J. Dodd, born in Hinton, WV moved to New Bern, NC and Craven County in his early childhood and has been there ever since. He met his wife, Elizabeth in 2008 and married the next year. After enduring 2 neck surgeries, an abdomen surgery, caring for his wife after a major surgery and, caring for his mother who became terminally ill with a long sickness, and later passed in July of 2020. His credit suffered a major hit. With an aging home needing major repairs, Sammy knew he needed to do something to get his credit back in order. Getting back to work in the concrete business full time, Sammy began researching how to improve his credit. Keeping his mind open he found all sorts of information on the web (most of it being old and antiquated methods of credit repair). After trying some of those methods, while continuing to learn everything he possibly could about the credit industry he noticed a lot of his letters and communications were mostly ignored. Sammy knew these methods were not
going to work. One of the things Sammy did was research the FCRA and FDCPA, he also started looking for attorneys to learn about the law and how to draft an effective dispute. One of the attorneys Sammy found was John Watts who teaches consumer law on YouTube. His channel, Alabama Consumer Protection Lawyers began to enlighten him on how these “609, Prove it or Remove it, or Not Mine Never Late” dispute techniques are often deemed frivolous (as they should be). While binge watching John’s channel gathering ideas for generating factual disputes he got on a live broadcast John was doing with Steven Palmieri. This was the defining moment that began Sammy’s initial journey to starting Credit Wellness Solutions LLC. Steven is the brainchild behind the Pre-Litigation disputing method. Sammy enrolled in Steven’s class where he is training hundreds of Credit Service professionals to switch from the old methods to methods that actually work, and can give consumers leverage to hold the Credit Bureaus, Data Furnishers (creditors), and Debt Collectors accountable for breaking the law, or for reporting inaccurate and unverifiable information on credit reports. Sammy has spent months and months learning these techniques and the laws before starting his company. Keeping up with the credit industry and it’s ever changing landscape, Sammy expanded his knowledge further, and connected with more of the credit service industry’s top professionals, and consumer attorneys across the nation. Among those Sammy connected with is consumer attorney Shiva Bhaskar who owns an attorney-based credit repair firm in Los Angeles, and Derek Louw who is a 25+ year operator of Consumer Credit Auditors a nationally renowned credit repair firm in Coeur d’Alene Idaho. Both of these gentlemen have been instrumental in Sammy’s further training. Together, they are taking the credit repair industry by storm and holding the credit bureaus and data furnishers to an unprecedented level of accountability. Sammy is serving as the Credit Service Organizations Department Manager for Consumer Information Accountability Advocates (CIAA). Together, they developed Quantum Matrix Dispute Technology™ where The Credit Dispute Center is the first credit repair company in the nation to employ this technology which has facilitated the first ever Attorney Assisted Credit Repair Program. Sammy has learned how to leverage the FICO Scoring Buckets to get the most out of a credit report to maximize this knowledge to get the most out of a credit report. Sammy also has extensive knowledge of Metro2 (He has the Metro2 Manual) and knows exactly how items are supposed to report. When Sammy opened Credit Wellness Solutions in September of 2021, he wanted to help people fix their credit to achieve their dreams and needs as he did. He opened with the mindset of not just being another run of the mill credit repair company. Although he was successful in doing so, another company with a similar name called Credit Wellness LLC from Casper, Wyoming was formed and began causing confusion as many of their customers landed on our website by mistake. This also caused some unintended negative reviews. We knew we had to do something to preserve our reputation and separate ourselves from that company.
